Associate Professor Richard Ferch is an experienced adult and paediatric Neurosurgeon practicing in Newcastle. He performs cranial, spinal and peripheral nerve surgery.
Appointments
All patients need a referral from a GP or specialist to see Dr Ferch.
As we are a busy practice Dr Ferch will triage referrals so that urgent conditions can be given priority appointments.

Public Patients
Uninsured patients
Dr Ferch does not see public patients in his private rooms. He sees public patients at the Outpatient Clinic at the John Hunter Hospital. Please ensure your GP or specialist has faxed your referral to the Referral Management Centre at the John Hunter Hospital on 02 4922 3900.
